To give musicians experience on the business side of the music industry to be able to apply for jobs in the industry with working knowledge and experience or to start their own record label and develop their own artists. Suitable for: Musicians and Entrepreneurs who would like to gain experience of the Managerial side of the Music Industry including A+R, Contracts, licensing, Tour mangement, Event Management and artist development.

About this course
No official requirements, but DMP ask that all candidates possess GCSEs in Maths, English and ICT at grades A-C.

Course review:
This 1 year Apprenticeship will see you being employed by Daylight Music Productions - a Record Company based in Devon who are looking to build their catalogue of artists and library music.
During your work hours, you will be searching for suitable singers and musicians, interviewing and auditioning acts, arranging events, signing artists to the label, auditioning and selecting songs, arranging recording sessions, producing marketing material and using Social media to promote your artist, attend networking events and arrange tours.
During your employment with Daylight, you will also be trained by industry Professionals to enable you to be successful in your job.
