Jeff has a very relaxed style and made everyone feel very welcome and at ease. The course was very interactive and had a good balance between practical and 'class' based input. For me personally the highlight was the photo shoot, the opportunity to photograph the bride and groom (models) in slow time. Taking time to learn and practice lighting and posing techniques without the pressure of a real event.

I recommend this course, for someone who has been out of photography for 20 years I found the experience and information invaluable as part of a fast-track back into the business. There's no substitute for actually being in a situation photographing a bride and groom in a typical location and having to deal with constantly changing light, and a different range of interiors. This course left me feeling a lot more confident about my future.
I also recommend the center. Jeff is very communicative and answered all my questions. He's very enthusiastic about his craft and it definitely rubs off. There's was so much information it was difficult at times to take it all in, but when asked he was willing to go back over certain things and even demonstrate. Also, a lovely buffet lunch was provided along with coffee and biscuits morning and afternoon which was welcome after all the hard work we had been doing.← | → -
This is stuff you can't get from a book! The first day we spent photographing bride & groom models in a lovely location. We learned how to pose the models, handle different types of lighting and I got some great shots to use for my portfolio. The second day was a group critique which I found very useful, especially seeing how the other students processed their pictures as it gave me ideas to take away and try for myself. Processing with Photoshop was covered and although I was pretty confident with this editor it made me go away and try other things - as a result my processing skills have improved. Some of the business side of things was also covered, which is equally if not more important than the actual photographing. All in all it was a very worthwhile course.

The course content was informative and interesting enough to encourage me as a student, to research further and add to my knowledge. The course materials were very useful and I am able to use them as reference as I need them. The AKV Dish is a simple but effective tool and adds a new dimension to foot massage. The benefit it extolls are an excelent plus for clients.
The course provider, Carol Anderson, was well informed, accurtate with her teaching, the notes and the AKV Dish that she presented to us as part of the course were well received. The notes are supportive, easy to follow and a good reference material. The Dish an important tool and aid in one's work. The setting was comfortable and the practical experience was imparted by Carol, exceptionally well.← | → -

The AKV Dish a simple but effective tool to enable a client to experience a new form of massage and benefit form the holistic properties in delivery. Very well done.

Not only is is a lovely treatment to give a client, it is fantastic to receive! The course was excellent value for money, it was good to have the Kansa Vatki bowl and a manual included. With such small numbers to each course, you get a very personal approach from the instructors, making it easier for them to relate to the material in a way that suits you. The theory (and there is a lot of it) is direct and to the point, whilst maintaining a good standard of information which is then backed up with experience. The practicals are hands on, learning skills and procedures in a scenario based environment. All in all, i think it si a great value for money. Just because the price is low, it does not reflect on the quality or standard of the teaching.

I found the course instructors great and easy to get on with, the course was laid out in such a way that it was easy to understand. The instructors at the end of the course gave us SIA application forms and assisted us with completing them.

With such small numbers to each course, you get a very personal approach from the instructors, making it easier for them to relate to the material in a way that suits you. The theory (and there is a lot of it) is direct and to the point, whilst maintaining a good standard of information which is then backed up with experience. The practicals are hands on, learning skills and procedures in a scenario based environment. All in all, i would definately give the course

Great value for money. Just because the price is low, it does not reflect on the quality or standard of the teaching.... Cheers guys.

I would definitely say that Durham is a better university than Oxbridge as it doesn't only evaluate you on the basis of your academic performance. It, rather, focuses on making you an all rounder.
