The events industry is a dynamic and rapidly growing sector, incorporating both commercial and creative elements. If you are seeking to develop your management potential within this sector and improve your transferable skills such as presentation ability and creativity, then this Master's is for you.
You will gain knowledge in direct marketing campaigns when acquiring new customers and nurturing existing customer relationships. A greater number of organisations now invest in live communications to create experiences for customers, inspire and motivate employees, and develop meaningful messages for brands.
Our Master's will equip you with the skills and knowledge to manage an events project and quality of service delivered at the event. You will gain a better appreciation and understanding of the theoretical underpinnings, operational practice implications, and public policy issues relating to events management.
Our combination of courses will provide you with knowledge in relationship marketing, event budget management, innovation, managing culturally diverse teams, strategic project management, all required for developing you as an events professional.
From 2017/18 this programme will be called MA International Events Management (subject to re-validation).

We work closely with a variety of events-related organisations, venues, and suppliers, both locally and throughout London, with the aim of producing the successful events managers of tomorrow.

About this course

Entry requirements
You should have an undergraduate degree at 2.2 or above, or equivalent qualification, from a recognised university or higher education institute.
Mature applicants without an undergraduate degree but with relevant business experience are encouraged to apply, subject to interview.
If you were educated in a language other than English and/or in a country where English speakers are in a minority, you should have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent.
