First Certificate in English (FCE) is a widelyrecognised international exam, for students who plan to use English when they return to their own country. It is an Upper Intermediate level (L1) qualification which demonstrates that you can use English comfortably in a wide range of work and other practical contexts. The course focuses on developing your vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and on exam techniques. We recommend that FCE students also attend a Level 1 or Level 2 ESOL class to develop their wider language skills.
