The course leaders were extremely knowledgeable, feedback was brutal and fair (always pushing us to do better), the Laban studios were a wonderful learning environment with so many resources at our fingertips and, despite the seriousness of the diploma itself, the atmosphere was laid back and fun.
The diploma covered virtually everything about teaching dance to children and young people- both in National Curriculum and in the community sector- including safeguarding, pitching for work, legal frameworks, planning, assessment/evaluation, anatomy and injury prevention.
