Protective clothing and equipment will cost about 250. There may be some costs involved with work experience and Educational visits.
The Programme
This programme is for learners wanting a practically based Hospitality and Catering course covering the main kitchen and restaurant skills.
The Programme Content
In year one, students will study NVQ 1 in Multi skilled Hospitality Services. In the second year, students will study NVQ 2 in Multi skilled Hospitality Services. Additionally learners can achieve a number of other qualifications from the following: Food hygiene; Asian cuisine; and Wines.
Work experience is part of the Programme and there may be opportunities to work in another European country.

Progression / Careers
Learners can progress to an NVQ Level 3 Advanced Professional Cookery course at North Devon College or gain employment as a Chef/Cook or Waiter/Waitress.
