Course Content: Tameside College is working together with specialists to bring you a new programme in Enterprise and Innovation, the economy is changing and we all need to be able to respond to those changes. By working through the programme you will become a creative thinker, be aware of the market and what makes people buy, become a better communicator, be more confident and become more financially aware and able to understand how money works in a business.

These are great attributes to have, either as someone who starts their own business or as someone who wants to work in a business. In order to develop these attributes you will work through a programme where you will:

· Develop your business idea and research who your target market will be

· Create a presentation for your idea and test it with your target market

· Perform simple financial and project planning techniques to see if your idea will be profitable

· Find out the correct type of company set up for your business idea

· Create, find and maintain a customer base - Marketing, Sales and Customer Relations

Special Features: The tutors on the course are developing college businesses and so are able to draw on their experience and expertise to guide you through the programme. You will also be working towards the nationally recognised Institute of Leadership and Management Enterprise Programme at Level 2.
