INFLUENCE WITHOUT AUTHORITY
Course Objective: for managers, influencing others within an organisation – colleagues, superiors, team members – can create different and potentially more complex challenges than those for whom they are responsible. Often, in situations where interactions can be potentially confrontational, appropriate behaviour – which is sometimes not naturally easy for the individual – is required to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

By the end of this course, individuals will have examined their natural behaviour during both ordinary and potentially difficult interactions. They will be able to understand and apply techniques enabling them to deal with and influence outcomes in a range of difficult circumstances.

By the end of the course, participants will have learned to:

  • Examine their natural behaviour in both non-stressful and potentially stressful situations

  • Eliminate personal limiting beliefs

  • Develop empowering personal beliefs

  • Take personal responsibility for finding creative solutions to work related problems
