What are the entry requirements?
You will require Level 1 ICT Skills plus Basic Skills (Numeracy and Literacy) at Entry Level 3 and an NCFE Certificate in Interactive Media level 1.

You can read and understand short pieces of writing such as letters, messages, simple stories, timetables and adverts. You can write short pieces of writing - for example an email to a friend, a simple letter, a story or a message.
You can work with numbers, symbols, and simple diagrams. You can add and subtract simple numbers and use simple fractions. You can use money, tell the time, measure things and know about squares, triangles and rectangles.
What qualification will I receive?
NCFE Certificate in Interactive Media level 2.
Where can it lead?
This can lead to programming in Visual Basic or Java.
What will I study?
The course involves designing, creating, testing and using moving images, using sound and evaluation of multimedia.
How will I be taught?
Study is conducted through lectures and practical sessions in the IT Suites.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is carried out through practical assignments.
What support is available while I am on the course?
You will have the support of your tutor throughout the duration of the course. The College's extensive learning resources are available to all learners. There is substantial language support for students whose first language is not English.

Age under 19 on 31st August of the year you start your course? Study forFREE.
