Who is this course for?
This workshop is for students on the Skills for Jobs Programme or Response to Redundancy. It is designed to help you build your self-confidence for employment interviews.

What previous knowledge/experience are required?
None

What will the course cover and what can I expect to do by the end of it?
In an increasingly competitive job market you need to make a good impact at the interview stage to secure a job. This workshop assists you in building confidence for interviewing and ensuring you are prepared. It covers areas such as appearance, making an immediate good impression, dealing with difficult questions and asking relevant questions.

What teaching and learning methods will be used on the course?
This is a group based workshop and is very interactive. You will also take part in role play exercises.

How will we assess your progress on the course?
We provide feedback on answers given in the mock interviews.

What extra study/practice do we expect you to do outside the class?
It is always worth reviewing what you have learned with friends and try to practice techniques at home.

What can I do after completing this course?
Be prepared for potential job interviews.
