Passport to Work Skills ASDAN Employability/Personal & Social Development
Level: Entry Level 2-3
Course content:
This course will introduce you to several different areas of work including Catering, Sport, Business and IT. You will also work to improve your English and Maths.
Examples of the sort of work you will do include:
Art & Design - work in our state of the art design facilities using the latest computer technology and more traditional art techniques.
Sport - make use of our brand new sports facilities, gym and equipment.
Music - create your own music and learn how the music industry works.
IT - improve your IT skills, produce documents for your course work, lay out letters and your CV correctly and search for information.
Cookery - learn cookery skills in our dedicated kitchen, gain a food hygiene certificate.
Course Structure:
You will attend for three and a half days a week. On one of these days you can take part in voluntary sports and enrichment activities for young people.
Course resources:
You will have access to a variety of specialist facilities in our brand new building, including a catering suite, sports hall and purpose built gym.
Assessment:
You build folders of work throughout the year to complete the ASDAN course. Certificates in English and Maths will also be achieved through completing in-class assignment tasks.

A vocational course at Entry Level or Level 1.

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
