The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (QCF) has been designed to develop learners’ knowledge and skills and prepare them to undertake further learning or employment within this area.

The qualifications are for:

The qualification is suitable for learners aged 16+ who require development of their knowledge and understanding of health and safety in a construction environment. Learners will gain the knowledge and skills to work safely and efficiently in their workplace.

The qualification is also for individuals who wish to gain the CSCS Green Card, or for current Construction Site Operative cardholders seeking renewal.

Qualification Structure:

The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (QCF) consists of 1 mandatory unit. In order to gain the Award the learner must achieve 4 credits at Level 1
