Course programme
This course is delivered by top Leisure Industry Academy tutors to ensure you are fully competent and confident in delivering a complete Swiss Ball class. Tuition will be delivered face to face and will take 2 days to complete. This is designed for anyone who wishes to expand on their portfolio of qualifications having completed the Gym Instructors or Personal Trainers qualifications. The minimum requirement to meet the pre-requisite requirement is the Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification with Gym or Exercise to Music.
Qualification structure and credit value The learner must achieve all mandatory units. There will be a good blend of theory and practical on this course, fully supported by a learners manual for this discipline to keep and refer to. You will learn how to breakdown, choreograph and deliver this in a studio based setting with the effective use of music, safely and effectively. The techniques you will develop are easily transferrable to working with clients on a 1:1 basis for a wide range of purposes. Introduction Section 1 – Mobility drill and stretch Section 2 – Stabilization (Phase 1) Total body Section 2a – Stabilization (Phase 1) Shoulder exercises Section 2b – Stabilization (Phase 1) Chest Exercises Section 2c – Stabilization (Phase 1) Back exercises Section 2d – Stabilization (Phase 1) Arms Section 2e – Stabilization (Phase 1) Core Section 2f – Stabilization (Phase 1) Legs Section 3 – Strength Phase Section 4 – Power exercises Assessment •Practical Demonstration
