Level II Award in Food Safety in Catering
Regulation EC 852/2004 expects every food handler to be trained, instructed and supervised to the level appropriate to their duties.
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health has designed its CIEH Level II Award in Food Safety in Catering to give all of you who handle food an appreciation of the importance of good hygienic practices.
The syllabus includes training on aspects such as:- food poisoning bacteriology, personal hygiene, cleaning, pest control, allergen contamination and food safety management systems. The new course has been updated to reflect the latest changes to legislation.
The informal, friendly teaching methods, including group work and active participation, make for an ideal learning environment.
The course consists of 6 hours tuition followed by a 30 question multiple choice examination paper.
