Course programme
The marketing mix is a powerful tool for companies of all sizes. Most companies (small and large) tend to bundle marketing with sales, however marketing and sales are two very different disciplines. While a company cannot survive without a strong sales focus, marketing is often left to the demands of key clients. A true marketing mix isn't only based on the needs of your clients (important as they are), but also the company's abilities. Understanding the marketing mix is the first step towards creating an effective marketing communications programme.
Course contents
This course comprises an introduction to marketing techniques including:
• What is the marketing mix? (four Ps)
• Building brand value
• How to conduct a SWOT analysis
• Creating a marketing plan

• Identifying the right titles
• Building a relationship with editors
• Understanding the editorial program

• Getting your message across
By understanding these techniques and putting them into practice, you can create your own effective marketing communications programme.
