Modules
To upgrade from the Diploma to Masters Degree eligible students are required to successfully complete two or three taught modules (Research Methods and one or two optional units from the existing portfolio), depending on their prior qualification(s). All modules are assessed by a mix of coursework and exams.The list of available optional modules are detailed below:

NOTES
*1 Research methods is a compulsory unit. You need to take it once in either Semester 1 or Semester 2 (It is the same unit in both semesters).
*2 IMC is an optional unit. You can only take it once in either Semester 1 or Semester 2 (It is the same unit in both semesters).
*3 Marketing Communications is an optional unit. You can only take it once in either Semester 1 or Semester 2 (It is the same unit in both semesters).
*4 If you are doing RM, plus 1 Option Unit then you will be accredited with prior learning for 10 credits. The APL will be the Marketing Communications unit.
*5 Please note that you can only do the credits you need. For example if you are doing RM, plus 1 Optional Unit plus dissertation your optional unit will need to be one 20-‐credit unit. If you are doing Research Methods, plus 2 optional units plus dissertation your optional units will need to be one 20 credit unit and one 10- credit option.
