This course is a practical introduction to the techniques of meditation using mindfulness of the breath and is derived from the Yoga and Buddhist traditions. Using a step by step by step method to build concentration and awareness. Learn meditation practices to cultivate loving kindness and compassion which is shown to improve emotional positivity.

Course programme
You will learn the principles of this meditation practice including mindfulness of breathing and cultivation of compassion. Learn how to work with difficulties in meditation and to cultivate the benefits of meditation. Practice relaxation techniques. You will be expected to commit to practice between sessions.
Through led meditations, group discussion, and handouts. You will be expected to do a home meditation practice in between sessions.
