This day-long course from Stand&Deliver is ideal for anyone who is seeking to improve their negotiation skills. It begins in advance with a self-assessment of your strengths and weaknesses in negotiating and what you hope to gain from the class.
The objective is for the student to learn how to create a collaborative environment in which a proper negotiation can take place. This entails creating a climate for co-operation and establishing minimum requirement results in advance. Students will work on learning how to achieve win-win outcomes and will understand and use various negotiation methods. Participants will also be working on how to improve their own personal negotiation style and on recognizing when others are trying to influence them. While each participant will have a different negotiating style, the goal is for the style, whatever it may be, to be sincere and effective. This course is suitable for anyone who needs to communicate with others in the course of their work, including negotiations with clients and suppliers.

About this course
Delegates will learn how to create a good climate for negotiating, collaborating and cooperating. How to achieve win-win outcomes and understanding various methods and using your own style sincerely and effectively. Also looking at how others try to influence you.
This is a course for anyone whose work role requires negotiating which may include colleagues, clients and suppliers.
Pre-Course Work: You will receive a document which asks you to identify situations and circumstances that you find yourself in on this subject and what works well for you and what doesn’t, as well as your expectations from the training course.
