Balloon Artistry

Level: Level 1

Course content:
This course is for people who want to learn basic decorative designs using balloons for parties, weddings and â€-fun days.'
By the end of the course you will be able to:
1. work with balloons safely and understand health and safety requirements.
2. design a basic decorative display.
3. make a balloon bouquet.
4. use colour effectively.

Course Structure:
A practical course with demonstrations, some presentations by teacher with note-taking.

Course resources:
Basic equipment and materials provided. Please bring a note-book, pen and file for handouts

Assessment:
Teacher feedback. Individual Student progress Records. Student and peer self-assessment

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
Your tutor will advise you want you need to buy in the first week, you will need to spend a small amount on materials
