Course Details

The course is split between: Workshop practice, to develop the relevant skills to become a competent electrician. Electrical principles and installation theory to support the practical skills. Year 1 - City and Guilds 2330 Level 2 Units 201 and 202 Workshop practice Year 2 - City and Guilds 2330 Level 2 Units 203 and 204, plus Units 205 and 206 Workshop practice

Qualifications required:
To be successful in this course, experience has shown that you will need to have attained one of the following entry requirements: GCSE grades C/D in Maths and a Science subject, or other qualifications and/or experience may be considered. However, evidence will be needed in all cases. It would also help to be employed in the electrical industry. All candidates must supply evidence that they have undertaken a colour blindness test and that they are absent of colour deficiency. The Ishihara colour test can be arranged with any optician.
