Exploring Enterprise Capabilities NCFE Level 1 Certificate

Course content:
The NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Exploring Enterprise Capabilities are ideal qualifications to provide you with a basic knowledge of enterprise skills and capabilities. They will allow you recognise their own skills in this area, in order to build the motivation and confidence to be enterprising in their everyday life.
These qualifications aim to provide an introduction to enterprise capabilities, the skills and characteristics of enterprising individuals and to the assessment of the learner's own enterprise skills.
The objectives of the qualifications are to help learners to:
+ investigate the skills and characteristics of enterprising individuals
+ perform a personal skills audit on the enterprise skills they use in their everyday life
+ identify areas for personal development

The qualification consists of 2 mandatory units:
Unit 01 Recognise enterprise skills
Unit 02 Demonstrate enterprise skills and characteristics

Course Structure:
The course consists of a mixture of lectures, practical and group work.

Course resources:
All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Assessment:
Continuous assessment by tutor and completion of portfolio of evidence

Next step:
Further short courses is Business Finance, Book-keeping and Accounts, Computerised Accounts or a FT vocational course in Business at Level 1 or 2

Fees Info
When information is available you will notice 2 different fees stated for this course. The fee you pay is dependent on your status:
Fee 1: Standard fee;
Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee
Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay £20 per course per term.
You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol.
You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs:
Students provide folders and paper for coursework. It is also advised that students purchase the recommended text book.
