Level: introduction

Course content:
This course provides an introduction to Braiding and Weaving.
This course is designed to provide the student with the fundamental principles of braiding and weaving techniques over the 16 weeks and will establish the students to be able to perform a variety of braiding and weaving on various hair types.
This is a full paying course where all fees and materials have to be paid prior to beginning the course.

Course Structure:
Delivery of this course will be 3 hours per week from 6pm- 9pm. This course will provide students with essential knowledge, techniques, skills and understanding of how to perform Braiding and Weaving.

Course resources:
Excellent salon training environment; the latest products in the market are used at the college. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Assessment:
Continuous assessments by observation on practical skills.

Next step:
City and Guilds NVQ Level 1 or 2, or Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing.
