Course content:
This course is for people who want to learn more about personal finance, mortgages, insurances, stocks, share and investments, and learn to draw up an effective home budget.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
Course Structure:
The course is a combination of lecture and practical exercises. Detailed handouts will be provided to students. Students must be willing to spend some of their spare time preparing their budget and completing other homework exercises such as researching an insurance quote. There will be sample case studies to work on in class, help with basic maths, a weekly investment game, an insurance role play and an end of course quiz.
