Summary:
NVQs are nationally recognised awards. The award enables a candidate to prove competence for the work they already do in their settings. The courses is designed for staff working in breakfast/after school clubs, play schemes and holiday clubs. Level 3 candidates are generally working at supervisory level though may not have the relevant qualifications.

Entry Requirements:
Must be employed in the field of playwork at supervisory level with age ranges 4-16 and the ability to study at this level.
Assessment:
You will be allocated 24 hours of assessment time by City College and will be supported by an allocated assessor during the length of your qualification. NVQ assessors will observe your achievements and skills in your workplace and you will collect a portfolio of evidence for assessment.
Academic Progression:
On achieving this Level 3 qualification, you will be able to progress to Level 4 or a Foundation Degree.
