What will I study?
The course is designed to give students a background of knowledge and understanding in relation to Personal, Social and Health Education. The course will promote self-development by encouraging students to be aware of their own strengths and areas for improvement, also the choices and opportunities available to them.

How can I progress?
Successful students can progress onto a Level 1 course in Childcare or Health and Social Care or other level 1 courses.

What will I need to qualify for this course?
Candidates will not need any previous qualifications, however one reference is required and a positive attitude to learning. Candidates will be interviewed and complete a skills assessment to assess their suitability for the course.

Whilst studying towards this qualification the following modules will be covered; *Action planning and self review *Drug education *Sex and relationship education *Personal finance *Emotional well-being *Healthy lifestyle *Students will produce a portfolio of evidence for AQA awarding body.
