Registered Supervisor

Achievement of this "Registered Supervisor" distance learning programme enables staff to register as Supervisors under SSSC Phase 2 requirements.

Eligibility
Applicants must be qualified to a minimum of HSC SVQ 3 or one of the
alternative qualifications listed under the SSSC Qualifications Criteria for
adult residential care and housing support services

Course Content 2 Units at Health and Social Care SVQ Level 4
- Lead teams to support a quality provision
- Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and
others

Training and Induction (at workplace)

The model is suitable for staff who have been in a supervisory position for a minimum of 6 months.

Staff with less than 6 months experience will also be required to attend Training for Care's one day course, "Developing and Leading Teams", to introduce core theory Fee £40
