Incredible, met friends that will last my life time and got to take part in a high level of sport plus started my career as a product designer. Where I will end up in the future really has no limit, the university has helped me every step of my 4 years of study. My course had modules in all types of design which was peef ct for me. Also the university held a competition to win a 9 month product design placement which I won and now have 9 months work experience on my CV before I even graduated. Also the university have a Addvantage programme where you can pick and extra module to study for a term that's outside of your subject, I chose photography one year and have used the skills I picked up in all variations of work now.

I find Coventry a great University but some courses dont receive the same attention as others. Overall is a great university offering a lot of great services thinking about the students. The city life is the worse part, but if you want to be active you just have to explore what the city has to offer. The tutors are really nice and helpful making the lectures interesting and appealing. The university is investing in new buildings and offering new and better facilities for all courses. A lot of new buildings and technologies all over Coventry, as well as trips for all course with financial help.

Attending Coventry University has been a great choice! The content that is being taught in the Civil Engineering course is really enlighting. The various modules included thus far have really given me a good idea of what Civil Engineering Industry is about. All teaching sessions very well designed and organised. However, for most of the modules it requires a lot of extra work outside of class hours which can be really stressful at times.

I have truly enjoyed my time at Coventry University, I am so happy I chose to attend here! The university is great and modern. The library is perfect for when you trying to cram in all that last minute work, as it's open 24 hours a day. All teachers supported my study throughout and my tutor support was always available and very professional. The whole university has a big family feel and I loved it. Would highly recommend it.

This course has gone past my expectations because we studied thoroughly some topics which I am interested in. They also encouraged me to do more reading about poverty and the colonisation in Africa. Field trips were an amazing way of making new friends and developing skills which cannot be developed in a class. We have also developed critical thinking skills, which makes us distinctive and highly demand in the employment world.

It has been a wonderful experience since I am here. As already said, it was quite stressful planning everything before I arrived. But the Uni is great and has a good and positive atmosphere. Really enjoy it!university’s facilities? They are very modern and I love to be at the University. In fact, I am there more often than at home. The library is GREAT and has such good working spaces. The Hub is a great place to stay at and most buildings have more places where one can study. That is MUCH better than my German Uni! university’s facilities? It's been fantastic and great fun! Coventry doesn't always have the best reputation for being a nice city however it has completely exceeded my expectations. I am doing great in university, enjoying my placement year and its all down to the fantastic support I've received from the uni! The Faculty of Business & Law Employment Support Team at my university are fantastic. I am currently on a placement year and I couldn't have done it without them! They encouraged me to start applying by informing me of how important placement years are, helped me with my CV and cover letter and helped me with interviews. My Placement Adviser even sent me good luck messages before my interviews! I also had various careers modules in my first and second year that helped me with my employability; the Employment Support Team also organise employers to come in and do presentations whcih is also a great help! My university's facilities are excellent. They have just renovated the library so that it is more modern and have really listened to complainants that there wasn't enough computers as they have now opened up additional rooms with many more computers in!

The University of Coventry provided lots of professional opportunities, industry standard video equipment and good general support. The modules were usually practical which I enjoyed. My experience has been great so far. As for the staff there they were very helpful with me when I was getting my minibus liscence through the university. Throughout university I captained the snowsports team and would have to deal with the SU staff regularly. They were very helpful and would always do every thing they could to help the team. Nothing stands out other than the volunteering fair where they offer lots of community based activities for students to boost their cv and give back to the community.

I have enjoyed my degree and my experience so far. I have received a good level of support from lectuters and the level of feedback has been great. There is a good nightlife and plenty of things to do when you are not on campus, eg, cinema, eating out etc. There are lots of services for you to choose. A module dedicated to developing academic and professional skills. We are shown how to make a good CV, write good cover letters, fill out application forms and succeed at assessment centers. There is also an employment team. All facilities are very new and they work well, the library is nice and the facilities are constantly being upgraded. The buildings are all pleasant and they are kept clean.

The University offers a lot of support with regards to how to write CV's, interview help, especially with regards to what you want to do after uni as well. It has been one of the best experiences i have had. I have made so many new friends and I have unforgettable memories. I have done things I wouldn't have been able to do before such as dance, take extremely cheap trips to other countries such as China. It has opened my eyes to a lot the world has to offer. The always broadcast work opportunities be it placement, work experience or even volunteering. I would recommend it with no hesitation.

So far experience has been mixed. the most important thing to me is the course and this has been good to a point. Most of the modules are engaging and teach a variety of skills and the majority of the tutors are helpful and have great amounts of knowledge of the industry. however there hes been some disappointments. The course currently does not offer training in software, which is a critical skill in order to get a job in practice. The tutors are aware of this but the current expectation is to teach this to ourselves. The university also has failed to fulfill is promise in the 'no hidden extras' promise advertised when I joined the university as this year we are expected to make a significant contribution towards our compulsory trip which last year was virtually free. There was also a reduction in the quality and volume of equipment provided this year in comparison to previous years. So far there has been no explanation provided for this change and has left me and fellow students disappointed that we have been mislead. We are also unhappy about how the university does not include students in major decisions . The biggest being the courses move from the engineering faculty to the arts and humanities without warning just before the course started. The first we heard of it was the day we arrived! This was a move that resulted in our course becoming neglected and isolated from key facilities such as computer suits. We are also isolated geographically as our studio/ lecture space is still in an engineering building.

Over all experiance is good. University suports students and trys to unclude them in variouse activities to make their school year better. City itself is student friendly. A lot of help is provided for placements. Quite competitive to get it but a lot of help provided along the way. Teachers encourage to interact. Make lessons interesting and up to date. societies like? Interesting. They plan a lot of activities and widen the friend circle for students. My tutors are a great help and are always happy to review drafts of my coursework before the hand in dates! I also know some friends who get personal tutoring in the Hub which they don't need to pay fee's for which is really great!

I feel comfortable in Coventry both city and university. I would definitely recommend Coventry to any student that likes a simple and calm yet enjoyable experience. The university held a lot of seminars and career fairs, tried to secure internships and gave advice to help students get a better understanding and opportunity for employment. The material is easily accessible. Furthermore, a number of lecturers brought numerous experts( in my case Judges, solicitors and law academics ) whom gave us a greater insight in many areas related to our course. I think the feedback and counselling that I received, for the most part, was helpful.

Having engaged with the university in almost every way possible, I haven't regretted it. I have been an active part of a society including on the committee, travelled to China and worked for the CUSU. All of these things have made my experience in Coventry unforgettable. I wouldn't change it for the world. Regular extra-curricular employability and skills sessions (mock interviews and assessment centres) alongside a constantly updated Graduates and Vacation Scheme website. Great library. Mooting room is very effective. Academic is amazing and the counselling, mental health, and advice centres employees are second to none. More counselling staff are needed to support the students that need it, but those that are there are invaluable. Most societies engage in volunteer work which affects those in the community and volunteering projects in countries such as Morocco, Palestine and Jordan are available.

Coventry University is a modern university wit top notch facilities to better enhance the lives of its students. The learning atmosphere is very conducive, study materials are readily available. The International Community is also well represented, giving room for networking, learning diverse cultures and having a wide view of the world in the eyes of the different people we come across. There have been different fairs organised in the university premise, attended a few of them and had a wonderful experience. Coventry University is the only school that offers Petroleum and Environmental Technology, which is quite exciting. Overall a very good experience. Apart from that I have enjoyed my experience as a very, very mature student. Support is great feedback has been detailed but often late which has an impact on future work. Support is always there if needed. There are support sessions for mathematics, writing, and computing. It's up to you whether you have the courage to make use of the support offered. The university has various volunteering projects that contribute to the local community. Lecturers at Coventry are all very supportive, and my degree content I find it relevant and engaging. There are great opportunities for social activities and international travel that I have participated in. A especial emphasis is placed on employability skills, through mandatory modules throughout the duration of the degree, the opportunity to undertake summer and a year long placement between year 2 and year 3 is also actively encouraged. Very good, academic staff and available and supportive when needed and wider university pastoral care services are accessible should you need to use them.
