About the Course
This is a one year enhancement course aimed at students who are in part-time employment and who want to develop and improve their customer service skills. Customers are becoming increasingly demanding and this means that organisations and employees need to put customer service at the heart of everything they do. This is where you can play your part. Whether you have been in your job for some time or have only just started working, you will need to deliver good customer service.
This course will help you demonstrate that you are committed to consistently delivering a high standard of customer service and that your customers will benefit from having a positive experience of dealing with you.
This course will enable you to become a customer service professional, somebody who has demonstrated they can deliver customer service to national professional standard. You will also benefit from increased job satisfaction, increased confidence and improved career prospects.
This NVQ consists of a number of units, based around five themes connected with specific areas of customer service:
• Customer service foundations
• Impression and image
• Delivery
• Handling problems
• Development and improvement
Within each theme there are a number of units which describe what you need to know, understand and demonstrate through your actions, behaviours and attitude to customer service. To obtain the NVQ award you have to complete seven units.

You will be observed in your work by a work-based or college assessor. You will also complete a portfolio of evidence of your work.
Fees
No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
