Travel and Tourism - European Work Placement UK Resort Representatives

Eurocamp and Leeds City College work together on this exciting programme for UK students called ewpUK. This is the only course of its type in the UK and offers an unrivalled start to your travel career! You will study for a City & Guilds Level 3 Extended Certificate in Travel and Tourism and once successfully completed, you will go on a 22 week work placement with Eurocamp at one of their fantastic holiday resorts in France. There you will complete the ewpUK certificate as part of the course, which assesses your practical knowledge. The units covered include Customer Service, Resort Representatives and Interpersonal Skills. Candidates must be 18+ years of age at the time of starting the work placement (April). You will return to Park Lane Campus at the end of your placement to evaluate your portfolio and receive your ewpUK qualification. An overseas work placement for one of the market leaders in the travel industry is a fantastic opportunity and skills such as team work, confidence and independence will all be developed through this programme. You will also develop your customer service skills which are absolutely vital in the tourism industry This programme is run in conjunction with Eurocamp - you must be 18 years of age before 1st April 2016. Some previous customer service experience is essential, this can include voluntary or paid work (please give examples of your experience within your application) GCSE Grade D or above (GCSE English grade C is desirable). Eurocamp initial assessment of English and Maths may be required. On successful completion of the course students will be given the opportunity to take up employment with Eurocamp as a Holiday Courier at one of their holiday sites in France.
