About this course
The theory side of the course is made up of coursework tasks which are answered in questions & answers format.
Trainee assessors are expected to demonstrate knowledge of assessment. They will also be expected to carry out a minimum four assessments that examine the skills, knowledge and understanding of your two candidates. The assessments should include checking prior learning, observation of practice and work products, questioning and discussions. You are free to use any other appropriate additional assessment methods.
It is possible to combine both the theory and practical requirements of the course at the same time depending on your needs. Once they are done with the theory and ready for the practical part of the course, they can then go ahead to prepare, plan and conduct assessments with two candidates.
When the COVID19 lockdown has ended, we will arrange dates for you to come in and carry out your assessments. If you do not have any candidates, we can supply these for you.
