He was a mental health promotion (now well being) specialist in the NHS, where he researched and wrote a toolkit and training programme called 'Healthy Minds in your Workplace'. This was used by the HSE pilot projects to develop the HSE Stress Manageement Standards He specilialises in well being adverse stress and mental ill health training, coaching and job retention/case management

Course programme

This is a practical course enabling employees, and managers for themselves, to improve their well being and manage 24/7 adverse stress. We use some unique and modern methods of managing adverse stress and creating reslient well being techniques.

These include:
Physical tension relieving exercises including for shoulders and neck.
Different breathing exercises.
Visualisation.
Your own reward system, what and implementation.
The role of self- discussion, how when and where?
Challenge negative thinking, CBT techniques.
Sleep problems-some tips on how to combat these
‘There is no time’ You control time not time controlling you.
The importance of Exercise with ideas of types.
Taking an effective lunch break-what to do and what not to do.
The daily unwind with your partner/friends- practical suggestions : how and when ?
Over view of food and drink – includes impact of alcohol and caffeine advice
Tips for lone workers
What am I thinking when I drive to and from work?
Avoiding and managing conflict.
When and where to put these into practice.
Evaluating what works for you, and tracking your progress

We provide Well being courses including a specific one called 'Enhancing wellbeing through Nutrition, and specific courses in Stress Management and Well being for Managers/HR and Directors.

We offer discounts in fees for series training, and can provide this course throughout the UK.
