Dignity at work is a term used to describe how we should treat colleagues with dignity and respect within the workplace. It is about behaviour both from an organisations point of view and as individuals towards our colleagues. We need to value and respect others, including their qualities and differences. The place of work should be no different to any other environment and we should be familiar with feelings of value, decency and self-respect. Bullying and harassment undermine this dignity and when this behaviour is unchallenged, it can soon become the norm and adopted as company culture. This workshop will help delegates understand what dignity at work is, and will ensure that they are equipped to deal with instances of bullying and harassment should they arise.
