You will achieve the following qualifications:
- Level One VRQ Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking
- Level One VRQ Certificate in Food and Beverage Service
- Level Two Award in Food Safety in Catering
- Functional skills/GCSEs
The qualification is assessed in a variety of ways:
- Research based assignments
- Multi-choice tests/short answer questions
- Five individual practical tasks – graded pass, merit or distinction
- Two synoptic practical assessments - graded pass, merit or distinction
