Course programme
Do you want to learn to live more in the present, and get rid of old patterns of thinking and behaving?
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a wonderful programme of techniques and practices that can make a huge difference for people looking for solutions to managing stress, balancing the emotions, and meeting the challenges of stress related problems of all kinds.
Originally developed in a medical environment at the University of Massachusetts to help people cope with pain, MBSR is now taught widely, and has helped many thousands of people world wide. Perhaps you’ve heard about it and you’re wondering what it is; or perhaps you know about it, but would like to experience it before you commit to joining a course.
This introductory taster workshop is experiential, and gives the flavour of MBSR techniques and approaches, and looks at how they might help you. A relaxed and playful class, including exercises and practice, and time for discussion.
Note: MBSR classes do not involve strenuous physical exercise.
