Interior design has become, in recent years, a demanded profession for many reasons. Old houses renovations, generational changes, newly built homes and the change in people’s way of life are some of them. Its goal is to create concepts and design functional environments adapted to specific objectives that will depend on the type of housing or business, with a personalized purpose.
As designers, they dominate the interior architecture and building materials. They are distinguished by their experience in the decoration of residences or commercial interior spaces, the optimization of space and the ability to adapt their aesthetic taste to their clients’ in the most functional way possible.
What is this work about?
The continuous contact with the client is a common activity of the interior designer. From the first meeting with the client, they must empathize with them and discover their needs. In this way, they can obtain first design guidelines, as well as an estimate of the budget. It is an indispensable task to be up to date with suppliers that can offer the best value for money. The interior designer must be up to date with the materials to be used, their costs and request budgets that suit the client’s needs. Daily communication with the guilds is essential to control the work planning, the quality of the execution of the work and, very importantly, comply with the work times.
To offer a global vision of the project to the client, detailed elevation plans, graphical presentations in three dimensions and any element that can help the client preview the result of the work must be shown. There must be no lack of communication between the interior designer and his client, as will be grateful for that contact in which he is informed of the step by step of the work and a door is open to any modification that may arise on the fly.
