Who is the course for?
People who wish to improve their cooking skills.

What is the course about?
This is a chance to make and decorate the classic cake for that special occasion. You can choose to create Christmas, Easter, Birthday cakes or a cake for any special occasion.

Will I need anything else?
You will need basic items, i.e. dish cloth, oven cloth and apron.

How long & often do I attend?
Approximately 3 hours a week for 10 weeks or why not attend all 3 x 10 week blocks to prepare and cook a range of cakes.

How will I be assessed?
No formal assessments are undertaken.

What opportunities will this lead to?
You will gain skills and knowledge which you may wish to use to progress onto other 10-week programmes of study or a professional catering qualification subject to entry requirements.
