This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of activities and functions requiring basic retail operational knowledge and limited practical skills in a defined context. Work would be undertaken in various retail store settings, such as specialty stores, supermarkets, department stores and retail fast food outlets. Individuals may work with some autonomy or in a team but usually under close supervision. Course Delivery The Certificate II in Retail Services Online Course is delivered 100% online, supported with online resources. This means the student can undertake learning activities at a time convenient to workplace demands without having to leave the work site to attend workshops. All that is required is access to a computer and the internet. Upon enrolment students will be emailed an enrolment form to select elective units (if applicable) once this is returned students are issued with a login and password, providing access to the training providers e-learning centre. This qualification can take up to 12 months (student dependent).
