To provide supervisors, team leaders and managers with an understanding of the main concepts of health and safety and therefore promote the benefits of health and safety within the work place and clarify the roles and responsibilities of individuals, supervisors and management. Suitable for: This course is recommended for supervisors, owners of small businesses, team leaders and anyone else who has a responsibility for the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Course Structure
Three day programme.
Examination
The examination (at the end of the course) consists of 60 multiple choice questions and is of two hours duration. To achieve the certificate candidates must get a minimum of 40 correct answers.
Award
Successful candidates receive the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health's Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace certificate.
