Introduction:
Designed for new or existing staff working in Dental Practice reception, seeking to provide a comprehensive and caring pre/post treatment administrative service to patients.

Study Mode & Location:
This course will be held at Preston College, St. Vincent`s Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 8UR. Commencing on Wednesday 23rd April 2008, the course will run between 9.30am - 4.00pm for 8 sessions.

Course Content:
NVQ Customer Service Units covered and assessed:

  • Prepare yourself to deliver good patient service
  • Provide patient service within the rules
  • Process patient service information
  • Deal with patients face to face
  • Deliver reliable patient service
  • Recognise and deal with patient's queries, requests and problems
  • Support patient service improvements


Assessment:
Candidates will be assessed every 4 weeks by individual appointment at the Dental Practice.

The cost for this course is £350 (Train to Gain funding may be available)

How To Apply
You will need to have an informal interview with an Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
