What I would highlight: I was assigned to this workshop by my sales manager to help me to improve sales effectiveness. We were being invited to tender for a lot of work in the construction sector but our conversion rates were too low. After this workshop, I can see how we have been bidding for the wrong work where we didn't really have a chance of winning. I have already outlined the bid / no-bid model to my manager and we are focusing our sales activities better.

Executive Team Cohesiveness

What I would highlight: Three of us attended Eskil’s workshop and it was a very interesting introduction to team cohesiveness. Some of the case studies used by the facilitators showed us that we weren't alone in trying to build a great team culture during times of change and the different psychology tools used really showed us a way forward. I personally think that this would be a great kick-off for using Eskil’s expertise in team building programs.

Intrapreneur Ecosystems

What I would highlight: I had tried to book a ticket for the full 3 days of the Eskil workshop on intrapreneurship but could not attend the first day. Eskil have broken down their full workshop into 3 separate days and so I attended the 2nd day. This is a very clever workshop that introduces you to a framework for developing your corporate entrepreneurs, taking into account executive, HR, IT, Finance and more. The whole day was focused on you building your own ecosystem and so the outcome can be easily measured. I would strongly advise people to attend. Delivered in both Arabic and English.
What could be improved: Everything good.

What I would highlight: We are a growing realtor in the region and this has given us some growing pains. There’s a lot of change and a lot of conflict. The fact that you guys took the time out to explain how emotional intelligence can be applied specifically to our issues was of enormous value.

Deploying Intrapreneurship

What I would highlight: It was important that we develop a way to empower people to propose new ideas to the board and for us to have a mechanism in place to turn them into reality. The majority of our employees were going through change and we didn’t want this to overwhelm them. To achieve this, we commissioned Eskil to deliver their three-day workshop to the board. Broken into three separate days, we learned about the impact of intrapreneurship on the organisation and individuals, how to set out a framework to ensure success and also the theory behind their Intrapreneurship Canvas as a way to communicate ideas to the stakeholders. For us, the second day was crucial as it was highly strategic but members of our management team highly rated the third day which was more operational. If you are discussing the development of corporate entrepreneurs, I would recommend Eskil’s intrapreneurship workshops.
What could be improved: No complaints.

What I would highlight: Within the first 9 months, my sales had doubled, my processes were slicker and my overall approach became far more strategic. They introduced new toolkits and processes as well as one to one mentoring sessions which are invaluable as they have provided a confidential environment to discuss issues, barriers and doubts (the bane of a Business Developers life) and result in an action plan to move the overall strategy forward.
What could be improved: All OK.

What I would highlight: I LOVED this workshop! Everything about it was so professional: the content was all their own, the workbooks are brilliant for referencing information, and the individual assessment and feedback made it feel like the whole thing was focused on me and my objectives. Add to that, the two facilitators were fun to work with and really knew their stuff.

Corporate Strategy

What I would highlight: I have been assigned responsibility for looking at the overall strategy of our company, specialising in construction. Eskil gave us an option of different facilitators and we selected a French speaker to deliver four days to us. We completed over twenty exercises designed to build our corporate strategy including branding, positioning, pricing, etc. I really enjoyed the workshop but think we would have benefited from it being two sessions of two days each to give us an opportunity to absorb all the learning. When Eskil completes creating its workshop that also includes elearning, I will be sending my department on this program.
