The IQ Level 3 Award in Education and Training provides an introduction to teaching. It Consists of 3 Units:

Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training

Understanding and using inclusive learning and teaching approaches in education and training

Understanding assessment in education and training

Objectives of the qualification include meeting relevant programmes of learning, preparing learners for employment, supporting a role in the workplace.

Main purpose: Preparing to enter a specific sector and or job role, including apprenticeships.

Assessment of learning is achieved by a number of written assignments as well as an observation of teaching practice.

We have many years of experience in the delivery of initial teacher training and I will support you throughout the programme.

Registration and Certification: Students will be Registered and Certificated with Industry Qualifications

About this course

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training provides an introduction to teaching and training adults. It is an essential first step towards practitioner status

A license to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector in the UK as well as being relevant to other countries.

The qualification is aimed at individuals:

Who are not currently teaching or training – achievement of the qualification does not require practice other than microteaching;

Who are currently teaching and training, including those who have just begun teaching and training – although the qualification does not require practice other than microteaching, opportunities may be made available to observe and provide feedback on a trainee teacher's practice;

Who are currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.

There is no requirement in relation to the minimum core in this qualification. However, there is a requirement to carry out an initial assessment of a trainee teacher’s personal skills in English, mathematics and ICT

For the September Programme the fee will be payable in full at the time of accepting the booking.

A nonreturnable deposit of £99.00 is required at enrollment.

Course fees must be paid in full, either at the time of booking or upon receipt of an invoice. YETI Partnership reserves the right to re-allocate the course place to another delegate 10 working days prior to the course start date, where the fees have not been paid in full at that time.

Refund can be made within 2 weeks (14 days) of booking any of our courses but the administration charges and the registration fee of £99.00 will apply once you have been enrolled on a course.
