My experience so far has been really good. I studied my foundation year in Loughborough and I must say, Coventry is so much more inviting. You really feel supported, and it's much more close knit. Coventry is very good at increasing employability. There are a lot of placement and job fairs, and the careers department are very useful. I recently had a meeting to talk about my placement interview and it was very useful. They also do not expect you to pay for your placement year, which is very handy as some universities will still expect your tuition fees.The lecturers are all very approachable and try to make the lectures as interesting as possible. They are always available to speak to you about anything you might need, and are willing to take time out of their own day to help. The facilities are excellent. I am in the new engineering building and it's amazing. They have everything you could possibly need, and it's very modern and clean. The support is amazing. We have something called a Theta room, where lecturers are obliged to go and sit for at least 3 hours a week to help anyone that goes along. We also have a maths support center where you can go along and ask anything to do with maths. On top of that, the lecturers are usually very quick to answer emails, and are happy to help.

Enjoyable, but many issues that makes the experience definitely not best value for money. Lectures don't meet my expectations. I don't feel like all the lectures provide good enough support or teach to a good enough standard. Class sizes are too large with too many students not interested in learning and disrupting the learning of others. I do enjoy the challenges and independence uni life brings.Good wide range of activities. Not always the best to correspond with. They don't always take the time to read emails and answer issues. Some academics are brilliant but they are few and far between. Many will not respond to queries and are mostly unhelpful. They don't treat you in a manner which makes you feel like you're two adults conversing.

Overall it's been quite good. The uni is expanding and getting better, with the quality of teaching being quite high. Quality of lectures is good and there's plenty of support outside them as well. Facilities are fairly modern. Good support outside lectures and tutorials, along with a personal tutor for other needs. Good resources available in the library as well. The university facilities are excellent.

I am here only since one month but I am really glad I enrolled in here. At the beginning I was not sure and I was pretty afraid to come here, but I have really no regrets. All lecturers are very nice, involved, patient, and supportive. Facilities are amazing, you have everything that you need. The university is modern, buildings are amazing, the doors are automatics ! It was also pretty easy to find a part time job here, you have a lot of job opportunities. Coventry University is really a great experience.A lot of workshop are made to help us to find an internship, a graduate placement ... Coventry University has a lot of program to help students to improve their skills : writing center, mathematic help, Lingui mundi to learn or improve a language, Global leader program to meet professionals and improve our employability Also, I work as a student ambassador in the University. I got the job just two weeks after I came in Coventry. Come to Coventry!

I am here only since one month but I am really glad I enrolled in here. At the beginning I was not sure and I was pretty afraid to come here, but I have really no regrets. Apart from that, the degree content covers a wide range of topics from marketing, finances and legal all things needed to run a business.The university is amazing, many funding opportunities to enhance your business and academic life. It is very innovative and won lotsof awards and is number 15 in the U.K. And won uni of the year last year- why wouldn't you want to study at Coventry?

My expectations of this bachelor degree were that it would give me a basis on which to build knowledge. The staff and lecturers are easy to contact and always available. Overall a very good experience. The networking aspect of it is a xcellent. I have met lots of potential business partners for the future. Plus the exposure the university makes available to the students in terms of business networking events. Employment fairs, career days. Seminars and lectures on how to develop skills, resume and interview training. Guest speakers of multinational companies. Societies that assist in making your hobby benefit your development. They are enthusiastic, and always eager to help. They dedicate the extra time to make sure you understand the topic. The module is very relevant to the real world. Prepares students for functioning in a real company. I would say that they are good. Some lecturers are more accommodating that other, however they are all friendly and helpful.

Overall my first year at university has been exceptional. It's easy to make friends who have similar interest, and the city provides a range of activities to help you relax outside of your course. Work is also readily available for those in need of a part time job, including placements with the university itself. Work placements are available all over the world due to their vast network of contacts. Especially in my course, it is often found that the placement company will reserve a position for the student so they have a job immediately after completing their course. A careers department is provided as well as regular updates via email when an organisation has contacted us with an opening. To enhance our skills, each student must complete an Add+vantage module yearly, which focuses on an area of skills you may not encounter in your course. For example, book-keeping, pilots theory, InDesign workshops, language development etc. The workshops and equipment available is always being updated. The are provided with a huge range of design softwares which can be accessed in our PC and Mac suits. A lot of funding goes towards our modern library, allowing a hive of information to be accessed; plus if there's a specific book or magazine you cannot find then the library has available funds in order to purchase these and add to the ever growing collection.

Coventry University is a modern university wit top notch facilities to better enhance the lives of its students. The learning atmosphere is very conducive, study materials are readily available. The International Community is also well represented, giving room for networking, learning diverse cultures and having a wide view of the world in the eyes of the different people we come across.There have been different fairs organised in the university premise, attended a few of them and had a wonderful experience. Coventry University is the only school that offers Petroleum and Environmental Technology, which is quite exciting. The lecturers are great, disseminating lectures in a professional and friendly manner.

Moreover, there are employment fairs on campus few times per year. CU also has nice and friendly career staff that helps with CV writing and job seeking. What is more, there is Centre for Global Engagement which helps with placements and becoming global graduates. Teachers are really kind and supportive, they respond to emails very promptly and are always willing to explain things more than once. Schedule is good as one day of the week is always free. CU has a really nice library that it's open 24/7. Also Engineering Building and William Morris Building have nice rooms and the stuff working there is friendly. The Hub is a great place as well. All buildings are really close, which makes it easy to get around.

Attending Coventry University has been a great choice! The content that is being taught in the Civil Engineering course is really enlighting. The various modules included thus far have really given me a good idea of what Civil Engineering Industry is about. All teaching sessions very well designed and organised. However, for most of the modules it requires a lot of extra work outside of class hours which can be really stressful at times.

Attending Coventry University has been a great choice! The content that is being taught in the Civil Engineering course is really enlighting. Overall it has been a very positive experience and I am trying to make the most of it. It's been fantastic and great fun! Coventry doesn't always have the best reputation for being a nice city however it has completely exceeded my expectations. I am doing great in university, enjoying my placement year and its all down to the fantastic support I've received from the uni! The Faculty of Business & Law Employment Support Team at my university are fantastic. I am currently on a placement year and I couldn't have done it without them! They encouraged me to start applying by informing me of how important placement years are, helped me with my CV and cover letter and helped me with interviews. My Placement Adviser even sent me good luck messages before my interviews! I also had various careers modules in my first and second year that helped me with my employability; the Employment Support Team also organise employers to come in and do presentations whcih is also a great help! My university's facilities are excellent. They have just renovated the library so that it is more modern and have really listened to complainants that there wasn't enough computers as they have now opened up additional rooms with many more computers in!

It's been fantastic and great fun! Coventry doesn't always have the best reputation for being a nice city however it has completely exceeded my expectations. I am doing great in university, enjoying my placement year and its all down to the fantastic support I've received from the uni! The Faculty of Business & Law Employment Support Team at my university are fantastic. I am currently on a placement year and I couldn't have done it without them! They encouraged me to start applying by informing me of how important placement years are, helped me with my CV and cover letter and helped me with interviews. My Placement Adviser even sent me good luck messages before my interviews! I also had various careers modules in my first and second year that helped me with my employability; the Employment Support Team also organise employers to come in and do presentations whcih is also a great help! My university's facilities are excellent. They have just renovated the library so that it is more modern and have really listened to complainants that there wasn't enough computers as they have now opened up additional rooms with many more computers in!

Coventry is a good place to study and I would recommend it to anyone. I like that lecturers and other members of staff can help us with anything and there are lots of opportunities to get involved in take part, for example societies, job fairs and even working at the university. As for the university’s facilities, I would say they are good, I always work good at the library and have had no problems at all with noises, space, and so on.

Coventry is a good place to study and I would recommend it to anyone. Accounting and Finance has interested me from my young age and I thought I'd see it through from A Levels subjects through to University. I think that the diversity of what is available in the course is amazing. The general pace is really warm, it's a student city, people are friendly and there is very good environment.

I feel comfortable in Coventry both city and university. I would definitely recommend Coventry to any student that likes a simple and calm yet enjoyable experience. The university held a lot of seminars and career fairs, tried to secure internships and gave advice to help students get a better understanding and opportunity for employment. The material is easily accessible. Furthermore, a number of lecturers brought numerous experts( in my case Judges, solicitors and law academics ) whom gave us a greater insight in many areas related to our course. I think the feedback and counselling that I received, for the most part, was helpful.
