After spending over 10 years in senior marketing roles in companies such as Dixons Stores Group (where I was the Head of a Marketing Dept), I completed a Masters Degree in Strategic Marketing. I followed this with some part-time lecturing in Marketing at Kingston University before moving to Southampton and establishing Marketing Medic, which is a marketing consultancy business.
Course programme
As the name suggests, this is a workshop like no other in that it teaches you how to write your own marketing plan and indeed helps you to leave the workshop with a first draft of your own tailored plan by the end of the day!
You will leave the workshop with:
- A first draft of your own marketing plan
- A 'framework pack' to use in future years
- The option of additional follow-up consultations with Marketing Medic

- What is a Marketing Plan?
- Conducting a Marketing Audit of your business and industry
- Setting marketing objectives and strategy
- Establishing a solid product offering
- Creating the right pricing structure
- Ensuring the correct channels of distribution for your business
- How to create an effective marketing communication/promotional strategy
- How to work out marketing budgets
- Monitoring your marketing activity on an ongoing basis
Workshops are run with a 1:4 marketing expert to delegate ratio to ensure you get hands on assistance on the day.
Marketing Experts come with a wealth of experience from blue-chip companies such as Dixons, Unilever, DHL, Cadburys and PepsiCo.
All prices include learning materials, light lunch and refreshments
Additional information
Workshops are run at various venues across Hampshire and are booked on demand. One to one workshops or workshops for a group of work colleagues are available on demand and prices are on application
