Suitable for: This course is aimed at individuals over the age of 18 who wish to improve their knowledge of nutrition and weight management. Understanding the importance of good nutrition is vital to all fitness professionals and providing nutritional advice and strategies will improve the results of your clients and expand your current client base.

About this course
You must hold a current qualification (within 3 years) in either Level 2 Fitness Instructor - Gym, or Level 2 Fitness Instructor.
Candidates may also be considered if their qualification is not current but they can prove ongoing industry experience.

Nutrition and Weight Management
It Course forms part of the Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training qualification.
The Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training comprises 5 units that all must be completed. The five units are:
- Level 3 Advanced Fitness Instructing - Gym
- Level 3 Client Lifestyle and Fitness Assessment
- Level 3 Nutrition and Weight Management
- Level 3 Training in Different Environments
- Level 3 Business and Marketing Skills
Once you have become a qualified Personal Trainer you could find yourself training a variety of clients in a mixture of training environments and locations. You will work with your clients following specialised training programs that you have designed to ensure they reach their goals.
This course gives you entry on to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 3 and can lead directly to employment.
