A Level History 2015 - A Home Study, Distance Learning Course

What I would highlight:
Have been studying for the past year to take my exam, found the course material very in-depth, and prepared me for my final exam. I think though that i should have made myself a timetable as found it hard to juggle family, job and study time. My tutor always answered my questions and comments on my SAPs, however it would have been nice to been given a nudge to submit more and asked if further help was needed. (however that is i suppose the learners doing!) I am a person that needs pushing and at time i lacked motivation. A question bank or mock exam would also have been helpful towards the end for revision. Overall though i would enjoyed the course structure and am more than happy with my grade. Thank you for all your help.

I have just completed my Relationship and Couples Counselling Diploma and must say how straight forward it was. On submission of each assignment I received quick constructive feedback and marking.The course content was relevant and thoroughly enjoyable.

What I would highlight:
It was a good course with an insight to all areas of organisational psychology. Material was well presented. I did enjoy it. Also for us who wear specs long moments on the computer causes migraines. Otherwise thank you.

IGCSE Maths

What I would highlight:
The course has been very useful to me this year. After failing to gain a place at University on leaving school Distance Learning offered me a second chance to obtain a place at University. My tutor was very good help beyond the maths coursework, offering studying advice and encouragement throughout the year. The notes provided are very effective in helping you gradually build up to exam level questions. I successfully gained a place at University after a year of studying A-level Maths with Open Learning (having Scottish Higher Maths to grade C before). It takes hard work and commitment to the course, but it's worth it in the end. I would advise this college to anyone in my situation and others interested in sitting and exams from home.

Inventor Professional 2015 - Tube And Pipe Training

What I would highlight:
This level 4 course in Counselling & Psychotherapy in my view is an excellent next step in understanding therapy or working toward practicing as a therapist. It is presented in an easy to understand but comprehensive format that increases your knowledge and your desire to know more. They level of support supplied by the tutor is excellent and although criticism is, something that none of us enjoy fair but constructive criticism is necessary so that we can grow as individuals and as therapists and in this case, the criticism was always both fair and constructive. I would personally recommend this course to anyone seeking a career as a therapist or to the therapist that wants to move on to the next stage in their career.

What I would highlight:
The course was a shock to the system initially as I was only used to conventional study so home learning with a full time job and young family was a little difficult, however the design of the course meant I was able to manage my time independently and felt supported by my tutor along the way. My tutor responded to any qeries I had immediately and was very helpful and supportive - thank you.

I did the Criminology Diploma with NCC Home Learning and they were absolutely amazing! My assignments were challenging and the material that I gained was insightful. My assignments were marked within a week and the feedback was constructive. Not just a "well done," but actual constructive comments to help me do even better in the next assignment.”
