Who the Course is For:
Business Improvements requires a whole organistation approach with individuals who are trained to involve themselves through effective teams to develop and sustain continual improvements within their organisation. The cousre is suitable for people working in all business enviroments, examples include engineering / manufacturing operations, warehousing activities to office based processes and many others.
Assessment:
Project based assessement to provide 3 examples of performance for each of the selected area.
Course Leads To:
NVQ Level 4 in Business Improvement Techniques, achieved through either Process or Quality routes.
Entry Requirements:
Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy requirements. Previous knowledge or experience in Business Improvement Techniques at Level 2 would be advantageous.
Content:
The course builds on the Level BIT knowledge and understanding through the introduction of additional tools and techniques designed to enhance the opportunities for improvement. Concepts could include Total Preventative Maintenance. Set-up reduction, Problem solving activities or Flow Process Analysis to name but a few. The final selection of modules will be matched to suit the business needs and requirements. On this course, candidates will be expected to lead teams of people through improvement activities.
