Entry Requirements:
This qualification is the equivalent to an Honours Degree, which means you will need to meet at least one of these criteria:
· hold a CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing
OR
· have a business or marketing degree where at least one thirdof the content is marketing
OR
· have significant experience in a marketing management role such that you can evidence that you meet the Learning Outcomes of the Professional Certificate and / or be able to pass the CIM Entry Assessment at Level 6
You will also need to provide evidence of competency in written and spoken English

- Managing Marketing
- Project Management in Marketing
Assessment:
Modules are assessed by the CIM: some by assignment / project, others by exam. These are designed to test your knowledge and application of theory to practical situations.
Academic Progression:
You may wish to progress to the Postgraduate Diploma.

Aims of the Programme
The Chartered Institute of Marketing's Professional Diploma in Marketing has been specifically designed to develop individual potential and therefore increase professional competence in a Marketing Manger role.
Studying this programme will equip you with the knowledge and skill needed to become an effective marketer and manager. All aspects of marketing planning and implementation are covered, and you will gain insight and understanding of the marketing function and its role in the present day business environment.
The Professional Diploma provides an academic qualification which, together with practical marketing management experience, will make you eligible for Associate Membership of the Institute.
