If you live in the Warrington area, are aged 19+ and love to cook, then this course is for you. Each week the chef will advise you on which ingredients you will need to bring with you for the following week. In addition, you will need an apron, some strong, non slip shoes and a cook's knife.
What will I learn?
Gives individuals the confidence and the culinary skills to plan and prepare dinner parties at home. Advice will be given on selecting quality produce, menu planning, timings and food presentation.
This hands on course will teach you how to prepare and cook two dishes including meat, fish, sauces, pasta and desserts and will be preceeded by a demonstration by a 'guest' chef lecturer.
How will I be assessed?
Learners assess their own learning and discuss their progression/achievement with their tutor. There is no formal assessment for this course
