About the course : This course is designed for people currently working in a supervisory or team leadership role who require formal qualifications to the national standard. Employees will develop good business practice and the knowledge and understanding needed to operate effectively as a team leader.

Mandatory Units :
Manage your own resources.
Provide leadership for your team.
Develop productive working relationships with colleagues.
Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety.

Optional Units :
Students must complete two of the optional units.

Entry requirements
After this course : Once complete, candidates may be able to apply for promotion within their organisation, and if their job role changes, progress onto a Level 3 NVQ in Management or an ILM Level 3 Certificate or Introductory Certificate in First Line Management.
