About this course

This practitioner level qualification has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to provide massage treatments to cover a wide range of objectives.

Anyone can attend this training course, you just need the desire to learn.
Once completed you will become a fully qualified therapist able to deliver professional treatments to fee paying clients.

There are no specific requirements needed for this course.

Preston Therapy Centre certificate.

Training is arranged as it is required. We have new groups starting regularly throughout the year.

I have worked within this industry for 14 years plus teaching for 10 of them, through a number of colleges and private training facilities before opening my own training centre 5 years ago. I still retain a very active client base which I consider to be of great importance to enable me to deliver relevant, practical, hands-on training.

Course programme

Level 3 Body Massage Diploma

This practitioner level qualification has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to provide massage treatments to cover a wide range of objectives.

You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication. You will also develop a knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification, such as anatomy and physiology. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in providing body massage treatments to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to provide your own services for clients or to work within clinic or salon.

This qualification forms a very sound basis for attending our post-graduate workshops which will expand and enhance the skills you will already have.

Course Content

Relevant Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, Massage techniques, Benefits & effects, Contra indications & contra actions, Consultation & record keeping, Client care & after-care advice, Health, Safety & Hygiene, Business practice, Case studies (25 hours), Supported home study.

Training starts at 10am, finish time can vary depending on the number of students but would usually be by 5pm.

You will be required to bring your own linen, everything else for your training days will be provided.

Payment can be made by cash or directly into our account anytime up to 14 days before you attend for training unless other arrangements have been made.

Payment terms can be arranged.

Training/Assessment cost £650.00.

We deliver professional qualifications in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All our tutors are working therapists each with over 25 years in the industry and a wealth of relevant experience and practical knowledge that they are willing to share with you.

Training groups are small, with 1 - 4 students, this is to ensure maximum individual attention.

Places can fill up quickly so if you are interested in attending let us know. We can pencil you in which doesn't commit you to anything but will give you first refusal in the event we’re over subscribed.
